Its static site was dated and didn't work on mobile, a real problem when most prospective patients search on a phone. The brief balanced budget and function: move to WordPress on a quality commercial theme, with the customisations the clinic needed built on top.

A specialist clinic, properly mobile and easy to find.
Auckland Sports Podiatry needed a site that worked on a phone and made it obvious how to get to the clinic, without the cost of a fully bespoke build.
Auckland Sports Podiatry treats runners, athletes and anyone whose feet take more punishment than usual. The old static HTML site was fine on desktop, awkward on mobile and hard to keep current. For a clinic most patients find on their phone, that costs bookings.
Instead of a fully bespoke theme, the site is built on a quality commercial WordPress theme, which keeps the cost reasonable for a small clinic. On top of that I added what the theme couldn't do out of the box: a dynamic location map, mobile optimisation beyond the theme's defaults, and contact and security plugins.
The result works well on mobile, shows clearly where the clinic is, and gives the team a WordPress dashboard they can update directly.
