The brief was a familiar one — an old static website that had served its purpose but couldn't be updated without a developer touching code, and a design that was overdue for a refresh. The new build needed to give the owner real editorial control, look the part, and run on infrastructure that wouldn't need babysitting.

Coastal Auto Transport needed to be able to update their own website without paying for a developer every time. Time to move off the static site and onto something properly editable.
Coastal Auto Transport & Towing has been moving vehicles around Tasmania for years. The website had been doing the basics, but it was a static site — every change to a price, a service description, or a phone number meant emailing a developer and waiting for the update to land. That works for a while; it stops working as soon as the business needs to move faster than its developer's queue.
The rebuild moved everything across to WordPress with a custom design replacing the dated visual layout of the original. The structure was overhauled along the way — clearer service breakdown, better imagery, an enquiry flow that doesn't make people hunt for the contact form. The result looks more like the business it actually is, rather than the business its old website suggested.
The site runs on Australian infrastructure through PHAS — properly isolated, properly backed up, and actually responsive when something needs attention. Combined with WordPress and a clean editing experience, the owner can update content directly without needing to involve me for every change.
