City Skin Clinic

In skin health and beauty, the website is part of the product. Patients choose a clinic partly on what they read and partly on how the site feels in the first few seconds. The Wix site had taken City Skin Clinic only so far: customisation was limited, performance was uneven, and the platform capped how far SEO work could go.

The rebuild was end to end. The custom design focuses on what a patient researching treatments wants: clarity, credibility and a clear next step. The site moved off Wix to WordPress with a custom theme, so every part of it does its job and nothing else.

The SEO work was structured, not ad hoc: page-level keyword targeting for the UK market, on-page optimisation built in, and Lighthouse benchmarking driving the performance work. On a healthcare-adjacent site, a slow page can cost a booking before the visitor has read a word.

With an international client, work runs asynchronously: clear written briefs and shared tools instead of in-person meetings. The engagement worked well because that pattern was set up from the start.
