The brief was a full website refresh, from wireframes and graphic design to a WordPress build hosted in Australia. The site needed to show the gym's welcoming, no-nonsense character, present membership options clearly, and make it easy to sign up.

The Project
A local gym, properly represented online.
The Strength Den needed a website that matched the gym: welcoming, no-nonsense, and built around getting new members through the door.
The Strength Den is an independent gym with a serious training culture and a welcoming attitude. The website needed to get that across, and to take prospective members from "interested" to "signed up" without making them hunt for information.
The project started with wireframes: page structure, membership options and the sign-up path, set before any visual design. Once the structure was approved, the graphic design followed, built on the gym's own identity rather than the stock-photo look most gym websites default to.
The site runs on WordPress, hosted in Australia on PHAS. The owner can update class times, add news and keep the site current without a developer, and I look after the hosting.
