Young Celebrations

Young Celebrations had been running on a WordPress site I built in 2016. Six years on, the build was showing its age — the original Classic Editor had been replaced by the Block Editor, the site was loading more weight than it needed to, and the front-end design no longer reflected the kind of celebrant the client wanted to be in front of his couples.

The refresh used the original site as a starting point — content, structure, and the bones of what was working — and rebuilt around three priorities: a cleaner, more contemporary visual direction; a properly performance-optimised build that loads near-instantly; and an editing experience using the modern Block Editor so the client can update content without fighting the CMS.

The enquiry path was tightened too. Couples planning a wedding don't want to hunt for information — the new site puts pricing context, ceremony options, and an enquiry form within easy reach from any page. The result is a site that converts more confidently than the original and is genuinely pleasant to keep up to date.
